Bachelor of Arts ( General)

The college is a constituent college of Kolhan University. It offers B.A. courses under the Kolhan University, Chaibasa. Admission in B.A. Course can be taken on the basis of a combination of their academic record/entrance test/interviews depending upon the courses and the availability of seats. The decisions of the admission committee and the Principal will be final. The three year programme leads to the degree of Bachelor of Arts. There will be a University Examination at the end of each year. Each part has to be passed by the candidate.

Compulsory paper- Composition

A) For Hindi Students : Hindi 100 marks

B) Non Hindi Students : 50 marks Hindi (national Language) and 50 marks MIL

    (Bangla/Urdu/Odiya/Alternative English/Santhali/Ho) ( forr Part- I & II) & EVS. (Part-III)

Optional Paper:

Besides language paper a candidate of B.A. (General) shall choose any three subjects. One from the 1st group and two from the 2nd group.

     1.Any one language from the following group.

A. English B. Hindi C. Bangla
D. Urdu E. Sanskrit F. Odiya

 

 

    2.Any Two Subjects from this group.

A. History B. Pol. Science C. Economics
D. Philosophy E. Music/Geography/Psychology/Home Science
